We wanted to launch our subscription program over a year ago. We explained exactly why in this article. But the app world is tough and development there is extremely fast. As soon as you have programmed something, something changes again and you have to “program afterwards”. Of course, this only pays off if you employ your own developers or invest a lot of money. As we don’t have either, everything always takes longer for us. And that is fatal in the app world. As a result, we now had the problem that our “Ask Ingrid!” app could not be updated to modern standards. For Android users, this meant that current Android versions could no longer install the app at all.
After a long back and forth, after investing a lot of time and money again and putting in a lot of sweat and work, we have now made it. We are up-to-date again. Android users can install the app again and the app is now also fully compatible for iOS users.
The further timetable for the “Ask Ingrid!” app
The app has been updated in the app stores, so nothing will change for you users. There are no new features in the app, but it works again with all devices and we can continue working on the app. All advertising, which has not been displayed for some time because the app stores have changed their rules and thus excluded small app operators from any earnings, has been completely removed from the app.
The next step, which will come very soon, is finally the subscription model and the food scan! More information on this in the next few weeks!
